Children: Cancun
Even though I live in Southern California, I've only been to Mexico twice -- once to TJ when I was small, and once to Cancun right after I got back from Japan, in the summer of '96. One would have thought that Mexico being so close, I would have chosen to study Spanish in high school, but one would be wrong. I went with French because the French Club went on a ski trip and the Spanish Club did not. Now, I think I chose poorly, especially when you consider that on that ski trip, we didn't really get to do anything because it was snowing too hard.
